This appendix provides the data on Educational status and level by sex for population age 7 and above. The educational levels given in this table are: Illiterate, Literate, Literate without educational level, Below primary, Primary, Middle, Matric/ Secondary, Higher Secondary/ Intermediate/ Pre-University/ Senior Secondary, Non-technical diploma or certificate not equal to degree, Technical diploma or certificate not equal to degree, Graduate and above. In this appendix data is presented separately for total, rural and urban areas at State and District level.
