A. How filled-in Schedules, etc. are to be submitted for the uninhabited villages?
Case 1: There are structures in an uninhabited village: Here, the Houselisting and Housing Census Schedule (s) will be filled up for recording the buildings, census houses, etc. The submission of records will be same as the one followed in inhabited villages. However, as there are no households in the village, one Schedule will be filled clearly writing “UNINHABITED VILLAGE, NO HOUSEHOLDS FOUND” on the body of the Schedule, in the scan-able area, for both the Houselisting Schedule as well as in the NPR Schedule.
Case 2: There are no structures in an uninhabited village: Here, on one copy of the Houselisting and Housing Census Schedule as well as on one copy of the NPR Schedule, in the scan-able area, the enumerator must write “UNINHABITED VILLAGE, NO BUILDING, CENSUS HOUSE AND HOUSEHOLD FOUND”. The same must also be written on the body of the respective enumerator’s abstract The remaining procedure of preparing duplicate copy of Houselisting Schedule, layout map, houselist abstract, etc. will be similar to the one followed for the inhabited villages.

B. Is it necessary to put signature/ thumb impression on the Census/ NPR Schedule?
In Houselisting and Housing Census Schedule, there is no provision to put signature/ thumb impression of responding member of the household. Here, both the enumerator and supervisor must put their signature at the specified place. In the NPR Household Schedule, the signature/ thumb impression of the member of hehousehold who have provided the data for the household should be given. It should also be signed by the enumerator who has recorded the information.
